Teaching
I have taught and supported a range of undergraduate and graduate mathematics courses, with particular emphasis on
calculus, pre-calculus, linear algebra, MATLAB, partial differential equations, and applied analysis.
Current Teaching Role
Graduate Teaching Associate, Arizona State University (Aug 2022 – Present)
- Teach Calculus for Engineers I (MAT 265) to undergraduate students, incorporating engineering applications to strengthen conceptual understanding.
- Conduct recitation sections for pre-calculus (MAT 171), administer quizzes, and demonstrate problem-solving techniques.
- Grade and tutor Linear Algebra (MAT 342) and MATLAB (MAT 275).
- Serve as a Teaching Assistant for graduate-level courses: Partial Differential Equations (APM 502) and Applied Analysis (APM 503).
Previous Teaching Experience
Lecturer, Military Institute of Science and Technology, Dhaka, Bangladesh (Sep 2019 – Jul 2021)
- Taught differential and integral calculus, probability and statistics, Laplace transformation, numerical analysis, and complex variables.
- Prepared examinations, managed instruction across multiple course sections, and supported engineering-oriented teaching.
- Served on a syllabus review committee and revised course content to strengthen engineering applications.
Teaching Philosophy
I aim to make mathematics clear, structured, and relevant. My teaching emphasizes conceptual understanding,
careful problem solving, and strong connections between theory, computation, and application.
